About

I'm Bryce. I help people move as one.

Functional movement coach in Ventura, California. Referral-based practice, in person here and over video anywhere else.

The short version

Why I work this way.

Most of the people who find me have already tried the obvious things. They've stretched it. They've strengthened it. They've been told to sit up straighter and to work on their core, and both of those made sense and neither of them lasted.

What kept showing up, over and over, was that the body had quietly redistributed the work. Something stopped contributing, something else covered for it, and the part they were pointing at was just the one carrying the most. Almost always it traced back to breath, ribs, or pelvis.

So I stopped working at the spot and started working where the body starts. The sessions got shorter. The results got better and lasted longer. And people started leaving with something more useful than relief. They left understanding why their body had been doing what it was doing.

That's the part I care about most now. Feeling better matters, obviously, that's why anybody calls. But the thing people bring up months later is that nobody had ever explained any of this to them before.

How I work

Hands-off. I coach and I cue. I don't do hands-on bodywork, and I'm not a physical therapist or a licensed massage therapist. What I do is functional movement education: breath, then bracing, then movement, plus RPR nervous-system resets you learn to do yourself.

Sessions are short and they feel like almost nothing. That still catches people off guard. There are no sets, no reps, and no program to grind through, because grinding was never the mechanism.

My aim is for you to need me less over time, not more. You leave every session able to run the short version on your own.

Where

I'm in Ventura and I work with people across Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Ojai and the rest of Ventura County. Everything I do also works over video, so distance isn't much of a constraint. Nothing in the method depends on me being in the room.

The practice is mostly referral-based. People send their friends, their parents, and the person at work who won't stop talking about their hip.

Plain and up front

What this is, and what it isn't.

What it is

Functional movement coaching and education. Breathing mechanics, rib and pelvis position, bracing, and re-teaching everyday movement. Hands-off, short sessions, and skills you keep.

What it isn't

Not medical care, not physical therapy, not massage, not chiropractic, and not a diagnosis. I don't treat conditions and I don't work around your doctor. If something needs looking at medically, go get it looked at.

Move as One. Move Without Pain.

Tell me what hurts, what you've already tried, and what you want to get back to doing.
